The FPV scene is getting bigger by the day and it’s no wonder. Where else can you get such an adrenaline rush without risking personal injury? These days, it seems more racers are leaning towards smaller frames, but still using the electronics from the larger 250’s. RotorX has been at the forefront of this “smaller is better” movement with their Raiju 155 hexcopter race rig, but they’ve shaken things up a bit with their soon to be released Atom 122 … as in 122mm using the potent RotorX 1306 motors and 3×4 quad-blade props! This little beast looks to be quite the performer and we can’t wait to get our grubby little mitts on one to test out for review in the mag.
Right now, RotorX is allowing folks to sign up to get early notification on the RTF version that will be available on Indiegogo, as well as follow-up details on the Kit version for VIP pricing.
Be sure to check out the video of the Atom 122 in action below as well as their Facebook page for updates.
