We are working hard today on some multirotor projects for the first issue. We ran into a problem with one of the kits we have where we were missing some 10mm spacers. So we quickly drew up our spacers in Sketchup and sent the file to the Solidoodle 3D printer. In 20 minutes we had the 12 spacers we needed.
The tricopter that we are building is using an APM 2.5 board, but rather than having a circuit board stuck on top of the frame, we found that someone on thingiverse.com already designed a case for this board. A quick 45 minute print and we have a nice case now to enclose the board.
