Using a Drone To Herd Sheep

A farmer has used a drone to capture incredible footage of his sheep streaming across the dreamlike terrain of his farm. The video, taken in New Zealand’s South Island, has gone viral as the beautiful images have amazed people from all parts of the world. In the clip the sheep can be seen running over green hills as the drone effortlessly films from above. But farmer Brett Sanders doesn’t use the drone for the footage, he created his special made device to herd his sheep instead of using a sheep dog. By attaching a horn and a siren to the drone, Mr Sanders gets the sheep moving across his 29,000 acre farm, while he waits for them on his motorbike with his faithful dog at the other end.
